A seamless process through design, build and planting

The majority of our work begins with a “design and build” brief. We collaborate with Cumbrian based designers, with whom we’ve developed close working relationships over a combined 30 years, to offer a seamless process through the design, build and planting and all the finishing touches in between. With our design and build service you remain in control of the final specification and budget through the entire process.

Using sophisticated surveying equipment, we’re able to get an accurate virtual-map of the terrain and existing features of a garden which will then be used to draw a new design on top of. Doing this helps us to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  Wildroof Landscapes undertook a major garden landscaping project for us in the summer of 2022.
The design had some challenges to contend with including a significantly downward-sloping garden and an electricity pylon. The team were on site for almost 3 months and did an outstanding  job which has totally transformed our outdoor space.
The team were extremely hard-working, responsive, well-organised and professional. We are really delighted with the work they have done for us and would have no hesitation in recommending them.

  Wildroof were chosen to bring the garden design for the back garden to life. From the start the workmen who worked on the garden were good with communication so that it was clear what was happening and when. Friendly too.
In terms of workmanship it was very good indeed. The brickwork on the water feature which was subsequently covered was very tidy (better than what I have seen on newbuilds). This gave reassurance that the quality of the finished garden would be good.
Material sourcing was a bit of a challenge however they were able to get the rockery stones I was looking for.
There were a few occasions where slight modifications to the design were required  which was discussed and agreed quickly. Wildroof were asked to do some additional bits of work on the front garden which were quoted separately and were able to accommodate.
It was good that Phil was able to recommend some tips for maintaining the garden too.
The garden looked impressive when it was completed however now it has had time to mature a little it looks even better.
Wildroof made sure that everything was clean and tidy once they completed the garden and made good any damages (caused by deliveries of materials though they laid down protective boards on the ground to protect the drive and font lawn).
Overall, pleased with the final garden and the quality of work completed by Wildroof.

  Previously our garden was given over to the car with parking for a dozen or so cars, tarmac covering a large proportion with the rest    comprising three separate underwhelming areas of grass and some uneven a cracked paving. The brief we gave to Wildroof was to bring the garden together, to deal with the awkward slopes and changes of levels and turn it into an a colourful, insect friendly haven with interest in every corner of it that we would love spending our time in.
Liz's design addressed all the issues and created a unified garden, a meandering path replacing the tarmac drive and beautiful borders of perennials, shrubs and trees in place of cracked paving and more tarmac. It fully met our brief of providing places to sit and enjoy the garden with a planting scheme to provide interest and colour all year round and attract bees. The implementation of the design required a fair amount of hard landscaping, adjusting levels, paving, drainage, walls and paths and this was done to a very high standard. The team were very easy to work with and I was impressed with how they managed all phases of it. It's now two years since we started the project and looking at the before pictures that I've attached really brings home the complete transformation that's taken place and we spend much more time in the garden as a result.  I have no hesitation in recommending Wildroof Landscapes for their garden design and build services.
