Green roofs and living roofs

Our interest in green roofs started with a need to disguise garden buildings, we now build green roofs for lots of other reasons too:

  • make the most of valuable planting space
  • improve the view of the garden from the house, particularly from upstairs
  • provide a valuable wildlife habitat
  • demonstrate your commitment to environmental issues and sustainability
  • help keep outbuildings cool in the summer
  • provide a durable longer lasting roof surface
  • help control rainwater run-off
  • make it easier to obtain planning consent
